Out of my Office window...

Work, work, work, I hate this chair, I hate this place,

I can not look at the computer monitor anymore..

But still I would have liked to bring you here,

and let you look out of this window...

The most traditional idol with the goddess having big un-humanly eyes

The human like idol of the goddess, once there was even a fashion of making depicting faces of famous Bollywood heroines! Which is, if I may add, unthinkable in the other parts of India

The theme here was some African tribal art, there is a competition from best theme, as well as best idol, pandal etc, and most interestingly prizes are given normally to the ones relating to other cultures and secular themes

The godess depicated in unconventional style

Goddess durga through bangles (the pandal was made out of bangles that women wear in their wrists!

An idol

This whole structure of the ancient temple was made out of card boards and mud only for 5 days!
